Europe-Class Railway Station Opened at Ukraine-Romania Border
OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2008. The railway station facility Vadul-Siret of the Lviv Railway unveiled at the Ukraine-Romania border in Chernivsti region (West Ukraine), reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.
The reconstructed railway station meets European standards. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the local authorities and Romanian guests.
The new facility also meets international standards and adapted to efficient work of customs officers and border guards, convenient for passengers.
According to Head of the Lviv Railway Mykhaylo Mostovyi, the facility reconstruction is worth UAH 20 million (about USD 4 million).
