OREANDA-NEWS. July 2, 2008. Organizers of action at Kazan Victory Park were the Kazan electrical networks JSC "Network Company" together with Ministry оf Education and Science of RT. The program of the holiday held for prevention of children electro-traumatism, included competitions for junior and mid grades of general schools.

By songs, fairy tales, and jokes the power engineering specialists taught the schoolchildren simple skills of electrical safety. They trained children how to behave near the electrical objects, where to phone, how to render first aid. The Neznaika (know nothing) was taught the right behavior in chorus. He was taught how to leave the area of step voltage, that it was not allowed to play heat transformer substation and take in hands the torn lines.

Each child at the holiday was gifted the flyer with rules of safe behavior near the electrical installations and book "His Majesty Electricity". This collection of stories issued by the power engineering specialists last year was appreciated by instructors form entire Republic, the address to "Tatenergo" management is the proof.

Considering big interest in the book, JSC "Network Company" decided this year to print the additional quantity of edition. During the holiday were distributed over 500 copies of collection with advises.

Action "Safe Vacations" became the part of the event of Republican program of prevention of electrical traumatism among children, adopted in 2006 and realized in JSC "Tatenergo" together with Ministry оf Education and Science of RT for third year in a row. Its task is strengthening in schoolchildren the skills related to safe behavior near electrical installations, improving the children adaptation to energy filled environment in locations of living as well as teaching the safety in using the household electrical devices.

This year on agreement with regional departments of education in the towns and villages of RT were held 70 actions "Safe Vacations". In the Kazan grids were held 15 such actions. In April 2006 by initiative of JSC "Tatenergo" was held the first in history of school education in Republic. Annually before the summer vacations are held seminars for instructors of basics of safe life provision. The seminar held by KEN for Kazan educators attended over 100 instructors. Specialists of technical services told about the rules of safety near the electrical installations, familiarized them with grids guarding, showed the devices used in operating and maintaining the electrical installations.

With the help of manikin "Gosha" they wee trained rendering first aid to the suffered from current. The attendants of seminar were told about the development of grid business at Kazan and realized actions for prevention of electrical traumas at capital power objects. Instructors received from power engineers the training strategy literature for prevention of traumas from electricity.

In three years of realization of Republican program of prevention of children from electrical traumas the power engineers visited over 2,000 schools of RT, conducted discussions with children, teachers, parents of danger of current. Specialists of power holding designed good posters and leaflets for use in classes of OBZ. Such training aids received each school in the Republic.

JSC "Network Company" conducts the technical actions for protection of children from electrical traumas. During summer vacations at each object of grid business are made prevention works for guarding the power objects from access of outside people and safety sign availability. During this work is controlled and recovered if necessary the integrity of fences, doors, locks. In 2007 wee brought to compliance with requirements of normative- technical documentation the electrical installations on the territory of 253 educational establishments of RT.

For providing the safety of people the check up was done of HL 6-10 kV, installation of reinforced concrete additional poles, locks, fences, repair of doors at KTS, ZTS. Were replaced around 4 km of aerial lines 6-10 kV. Over 60 km of insinuated lines of electricity transmission 0.4 kV wee replaced with aerial lines with self-bearing insulated cables. They are safe and do not cause harm even if fall or hanging as they are not short circuited. Were renovated the cable lines on school territories. Also the works were done for bringing the electricity transmission lines from territory of educational establishments, children and sports sites. The same volume of works is planned to be realized this year.

The actions taken allowed in 2006-2007 prevent accidents on electrical installations of JSC "Network Company". Compared to 2004-2005 in RT Reduced the household electrical traumas.

Life and health of children is a serious and important theme, and the Tatarstan power engineering specialists continue to enhance the safety of power objects and removal of "electrical illiteracy" of teenagers.
