OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 July 2008 was announced, that the solemn ceremony of awarding winners and laureates of XIV PEGAZ-2007 International Competition for the Best Publication on Fuel and Energy Complex Issues of Russia (Petroleum Energy Gas) was held in Moscow Central House of Scientists.

Over 300 team works and works of authorship were presented at the competition, in which 50 regions of Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States took part. Their works were devoted to issues of fuel and energy complex. The structure of the competent jury included such known journalists, as the dean of faculty of journalism of Moscow State University Yaser Zasursky, president of National Association of Television and Radio Broadcasting Eduard Sagalayev, Director of Public Academy of Power Journalism Alexander Afonsky and other famous experts of the Russian journalism.

The special prize was awarded to the team of authors of IDGC of Centre Internet radio project for a series of radio programs called Energy of Business which tells about the relevant issues of the company's current activity. The team of the press service of Orelenergo branch of IDGC of Centre headed by Chairman of the Orel branch of power journalism, a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia Eduard Rudakov, was awarded the Gran Prix of the competition – the bronze figurine of the PEGAZ winged horse. PR-experts of Orelenergo are recognized to be winners in once in three nominations: First award to the press service of the fuel and energy complex organization, Award to the Internet website and The best book.

Handing over the awards, Director of the Public Academy of Power Journalism Alexander Afonsky noted that for the first time for 14 years of existence of the competition, the team of one press service became the winner in several nominations simultaneously, and this proves that professionals  - the best PR managers of the Central region of Russia work here.

'This victory became possible owing to employees of the Orelenergo press service - my colleagues Aliya Mutaf and Olga Polyakova and, certainly, those journalists from electronic and printed mass media we closely cooperate with', Eduard Rudakov said.

By the way, work of the Orel journalists at the "winged" competition was also appreciated. The Honourable Diploma for programs dedicated to Orel power was awarded to the journalist of Serebryany Dozhd Orel GTU Oleg Zajtsev.

One more branch of IDGC of Centre was marked by the jury. Five booklets devoted to social projects of Belgorod powermen were also awarded For the best book/reference book/collection of articles of the Pegaz-2007 XIV International Journalistic Competition.

Powermen of Belgorod also presented several printing editions: the comic book of Belgorodenergo About electricity for children, the Sharp pencil booklet which presents works of winners of the same name regional competition devoted to essential problems of the power sector, and also the Belgorod thermal power station. Investments into the future booklet and Energy of creativity collection created following the results of the festival of the applied art among employees of the Belgorod power supply system.
