OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 July 2008 was announced, that the International Business Forum “Strategic challenges for the Russian packaging market” was held for the first time at ROSUPAK 2008 on June 24-25. Vladimir Chuikov, the President of the exhibition, and Chairman of the GOTEK board of directors, Vladimir Chouikov, the Chairman of the GOTEK Board of Directors, Alexander Boiko, the Executive Director of the National Packagers’ Confederation; Andrei Lapshin, the President of MVK International Exhibition Company and Viktor Andreev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ImperiaForum delivered their introductory speeches.

 “The Forum is to help the packagers in solving the problems of the industry”, said Vladimir Chouikov.

The Forum attracted 150 chief executives and top managers of the packaging manufacturing and consuming enterprises from Russia, Poland, Turkiye, Japan, Finland, Germany and France.

The plenary session touched upon the issues of small and medium business intensification, criteria of the federal investment program, standards and certification in production, usage of raw and packaging materials. They also discussed the concept of development of the national system of packaging industry standardization and memorandum “Notification to the Government of Russia concerning the Russian packaging industry development”.

The seminar “How to get a 120% profit at the corporate market” by Igor Kachalov, the President of the Kachalov &Co, was very popular with the audience.
