OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2008. Russian Railways held its fourth auction to sell movable and immovable property of its 22 coach repair depots, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

The auction was organised by the Specialised State Unitary Enterprise for the Sale of Property in Moscow (SSUE).

The fourth auction included property at the Abdulino depot (Orenburg region), Biysk (Altai Territory), Ivanovo (Ivanovo region) and property owned by the Morshansk locomotive depot.

The assets of the Abdulino coach repair depot were sold for 95,782,611 roubles. The starting price was 91,232,611 roubles and each round at the auction was 4,550,000 roubles. 6 applicants participated in the auction, which was won by EKSTES-Transport.

The assets of the Ivanovo coach repair depot were sold for 89,690,411 roubles. The starting price was 80,969,411 roubles and each round at the auction was 4,500,000 roubles. 3 applicants participated in the auction, which was won by Balttransservis.

The auctions for the property of the Biysk coach depot and the property owned by the Morshansk locomotive depot did not take place because of insufficient applications.

Russian Railways will announce the date of new auctions after July 2.

As a result of auctions carried out so far, Russian Railways has raised 184,852,022 roubles.

Russian Railways will hold the next auction to sell property at its coach repair depots on July 2.

Under the hammer will be property at the rolling stock repair factory owned by the Company’s regional division Kuybyshev Railways in Samara Region and the Ardecha depot in Volgograd Region, as well as the assets of the separate wagon sections at Bureya in Amur Region and at Khilok in the Chita Region.

Applications for participating in the forthcoming auction must be received by June 27.
