OREANDA-NEWS. July 1, 2008. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) continues operation on Oil Production Increase Programme from Neft Dashlari offshore field from 812,000 up to 1.2 million tons a year.

SOCAR informed for that purpose a 6-reservior park with capacity of 12,000 tons of oil is under construction.

“Crane ship “General Aliaga Shikhlinsky” has already installed four reservoirs. Each of them designed for 2,000 tons of oil and has diameter of 15 meters and height of 12 meters. The reservoirs will be commissioned in September-October,” it was informed.

This year it is planned to produce 936,420 tons from the field, in anniversary year of 2009 – 1.2 million tons. For that purpose it is planned to commission 60 new wells and increase production due to three new platforms.
