Belarus’ Trading House to Be Set Up in Chadyr-Lunga
OREANDA-NEWS. July 1, 2008. The trading house which will sell Belarusian goods is expected to set up in the Moldovan town of Chadyr-Lunga.
The Belarusian and Moldovan sides had talks on this issue during the interregional universal exhibition and fair Chadyr-Expo-2008. A delegation from the Gomel oblast of Belarus participated in the forum.
The trading house is expected to present various Belarusian goods such as furniture, tableware, cut glass, textiles and others.
The exhibition and fair Chadyr-Expo-2008 was held on June 25-27. Visitors of the fair could appreciate the lingerie produced by famous Belarusian Milavitsa, knitted goods, cosmetics and other goods which were showcased by official dealers of Belarusian companies in Moldova.
Attending the fair in Chadyr-Lunga were the companies of Moldova and Belarus which displayed foodstuffs, beverages, consumer goods, construction materials, furniture and other goods.
The forum was organized by the Gagauzia branch of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, company Budjak-Expo-Business and the Administration of the Chadyr-Lunga region.
According to the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, within the framework of the forum the Belarusian side signed a number of contracts for the supply of grape, peaches, plums and other fruits to Belarus in 2008.
