OREANDA-NEWS. On 01 July 2008 was announced, that IDGC of Centre famous for its achievements in the field of business automation was awarded by the "Business Process Excellence Award 2008" international award in the "Bussiness Perfomance Improvement" nomination.

The award was presented in Berlin at the "Process World & UserDay - 2008" International Forum organized by IDS Scheer Company.

For the last ten years, the Forum became the main event of Europe and the USA in the field of business process management. The action gathers representatives of the leading world companies using IDS Scheer solutions for increase of the business management efficiency of the companies.

Participants of the Forum share their experience with colleagues, discuss prospects and problems of business optimization systems development. The great value of the Forum is dialogue with developers of software products who are experts of the IDS Scheer Company, an opportunity of discussion of the key issues concerning methodology and implementation of solutions on the basis of ARIS.

The General Director of IDGC of Centre Evgeniy Makarov presented the Forum participants the Company experience in building the management system of the power company with use of modern technologies and ARIS toolkit.

Transformations in the power sector of Russia, transition from the holding structure to the united operational company demand effective tools for construction of the management system which would allow to pass in the minimal terms to a new structure management. Strategic management of IDGC of Centre and its branches is regulated by the automation system project. The primary goal of the project is formation of the unique model of the management based on integration of strategic management by goals and process-project approach in organization of the operational activity. This integration is provided, first of all, due to creation and maintenance in an efficient status of multilevel system of goals, parameters and criteria of their achievement.

"From the very beginning of our way, we have purposefully selected the way of the leader - to use only the best world experience and developments in building modern management system; therefore, we apply software products of IDS Scheer company. Today ARIS is used everywhere: development of strategy, description of business processes, construction of organizational structure, monitoring of and control over efficiency of all projects without exception," Evgeniy Makarov, General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC said. In 2007 the company realized more than 50 projects directed to optimization of business in the most various directions.

For today, we can mark qualitative improvements as a result of the IDGC of Centre new management system:

- All branches of IDGC of Centre have successfully passed certification of quality of the electric power;

- IDGC of Centre became the first interregional distribution grid company which received the certificate of conformity of the Quality Management System with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 international standard in view of provisions of ISO 10006:2003 "Guide to the quality management system at project activities realization";

- IDGC of Centre successfully passed certification audit for the degree of conformity of technological maturity in the field of project management (IPMA).

Besides, for the period since 2006, the company has quantitatively improved the key performance indicators:

 - ROE (return on equity) increased by 22%;

- Scope of the market increased by 4.8 p;

- Duration of cycles of the technological connection process decreased by 31%;

- Integrated factor of goals achievement came nearer to 100 % (99.78 %);

- Degree of actualization of the internal normative documents raised by 12% and equaled 98.5%;

 - Investment return ratio (IRR) increased by 23 %.
