OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2008.  Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) held a meeting in Istanbul that involved national broadcasting councils of 12 member countries.

Azerbaijan National Broadcasting Council informed that Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by Council’s Chairman Nushirevan Mahharamov.

“Within the meeting Chairman of the Supreme TV and Radio Council of Turkey Zahid Akman has informed about desire of mass-media of the Black Sea region countries to create a uniform platform in radio space, in particular to prepare joint transfers in the field of culture, and also to cooperate in holding of some regulatory events for preparation of children"s and youth programs,” it was reported.

In 2007 Turkey has prepared the project concerning cooperation of television bodies of members of the organization and has presented it to the workgroup on information-communication technologies of the organization. The project stipulated preparation of joint programs and creation of a special editorial delegation.
