OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2008.  Stroytransgaz was once again among companies participating in the international tradeshow Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industries (Neftegaz-2008). This large, twelfth by count, event took place on June 23-26 in Moscow in the central exhibition complex Expocentre.

From the opening day of the tradeshow, visitors to the Stroytransgaz display could acquaint themselves with a broad array of projects the company has realized in Russia and abroad. They could learn about the company’s current activities and its new opportunities in construction and reconstruction of infrastructure for the oil and gas and electric power industries and other industrial sectors.

The 6th Russian Petroleum and Gas Congress was held within the framework of the tradeshow. Sergei Karochkin, head of the Marketing Center at Stroytransgaz, made a report to the congress on the company’s work in oil and gas projects in Russia. Mr. Karochkin’s presentation drew lively interest from specialists and from journalists covering the congress.

By tradition, Stroytransgaz is a sponsor of this large international forum, which draws more than 1,000 companies from 40 countries each year. Gazprom, LUKOIL, Rosneft, Tatneft, TNK-BP, Transneft, E.On Ruhrgas, Vng-Verbundnetz Gas, Wingas, China Petroleum Technology & Development Corporation, Caterpillar, ChevronTexaco, Fortum, Gas De France, Jogmec Japаn Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation, Petronas, Saipem, and Shell were among leaders in the oil and gas complex attending the forum.
