OREANDA-NEWS. On June 28, 2008 the LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company LLC announced a tender to design and construct prospecting water intake holes in the area of Kandym group of deposits.

Both local and foreign companies having experience in prospecting works and services can participate in the tender. Applicants should have annual turnover of USD 500 thousand, three-year work experience as general contractor, certified equipment, relevant license and opportunity to gain banking security for applying for the tender and carrying out the contract.

The Resolution of Uzbek Cabinet of Ministers “On measures of intensifying complex development of Kandym group of deposits” makes the LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company LLC responsible for conducting tenders and signing contracts to develop the feasibility study of the project on complex development of Kandym group of deposits.

The company has examined and approved the preliminary feasibility study of the project on constructing a gas processing complex and developing Kandym group of deposits with average annual predicted production and processing of 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas, 6,5 million tons of cleaned tank gas, 213,6 thousand tons of stable condensate, 17,5 thousand tons of liquefied gas and 191,1 thousand tons of sulfur.
