OREANDA-NEWS. June 26, 2008. "Megabank" introduced the service for natural persons to place bank metals in gold for deposit ("Golden Deposit"). The deposit in bank metals in gold can be placed for 12 months with a possibility to replenish the deposit.

The deposit interest rate depends on the weight of bank metals:
100 grams – 1,5% per annum;
101 – 500 grams – 2,0% per annum;
More than 500 grams – 2,5% per annum.

Interest is paid at the end of the deposit maturity. As Viktoriya Pidgorna, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, reported:

"Golden Deposit" will be interesting for those who plan to place their cash assets into gold. Taking into account the growth of the gold value during the recent 2 years and tendencies of growth this year, long-term deposits in banking metals in gold are very perspective.

To place a "Golden Deposit" it is necessary to buy bank gold bars in the bank.
