OREANDA-NEWS. June 26, 2008. The Russian delegation is led by Deputy Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Yevgeny Yevstratov, the Norwegian delegation – by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Elisabet Walaas.

The Committee is supposed to hear reports on recycling of nuclear submarines, recovery of Andreev Bay sites, safe storage of spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste in North-Western Russia, destruction of radio-isotope thermo-electric generators, safety of Kola and Leningrad NPPs, cooperation between regulatory authorities of Russia and Norway, multilateral cooperation programs.
