OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 June 2008 was announced, that a kindergarten is to be built instead of a commercial residential complex on Dubki Street in north Moscow at the instance of the district dwellers.

“A decision on cancellation of the construction of a residential complex at the address: 15 Dubki Street was made at a session of the inter-departmental commission included in Moskomarkhitektura after Yury Khardikov, prefect of the northern administrative district of Moscow, had appealed to it. The prefect backed up numerous requests by the people. A kindergarten for 95 children will be located instead of the residential complex,” a source from the district press service said.

According to the source, Moskomarkhitektura is considering a suitability of the construction of a dwelling house on Ivanovskaya Street and a possibility of the erection of a sports and fitness centre or a kindergarten on the same street, taking into account Mr Khardikov’s address.

The district dwellers had an opportunity to give out with the building projects during the airings concerning the planning of several blocks in Timiryazevsky township in north Moscow.
