OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 June 2008 was announced, that in the Affiliate OJSC OGK-2 – Troitskaya GRES a regular scheduled meeting of the head office on construction of new power generating units was held. Both the customer's inspector and the prime contractor representatives of the investment project took part in the meeting: Executive Director in charge of Capital Construction of OJSC OGK-2 Ivan Pisaruk, Director General of LLC “Management company “Kvarz” Ivan Avetisyan, Deputy Director in charge of Capital Construction of the OJSC OGK-2 Affiliate – Troitskaya GRES Mikhail Zaitsev and others.

At the headquarters meeting the main issue of the design works was discussed as well as the commercial specifications of the main components (boilers, turbines and generators).

According to Mikhail Zaitsev the headquarters took into consideration the information concerning the choice of potential contractors to carry out the work at the construction site. Every plant or organization undergoes a thorough checkup and is coordinated with OJSC OGK-2.

It should be noted that the project owner – OJSC OGK-2 paid the planned advances for the equipment delivery in due time and affirmed its willingness to pay the planned advances for the design and survey works.

At present the development of the general outlay variants for the principal buildings and constructions is carried out as well as the design of the objects that are subject to transfer from the building site. The construction of the objects to transfer will begin still in the year 2008.

Besides, the project owner made available a detailed analysis of the buildings and constructions that can be used for the purposes of accommodation of people, equipment and materials of the contractors in the nearest future.
