OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2008. White Greaseproof paper with sliding effect was developed and put into production at NPPM in February, 2008. The paper is specially designed for tartlets in confectionery and bakery industry and for wrapping confectionery products.

Color greaseproof paper "P" with sliding effect is designed first of all for more attractive packaging in confectionery industry. The first batch of brown greaseproof paper "P" was purchased by Petersburg factory "Vestalka". Several Italian companies have ordered color Greaseproof paper "P" as well.

Earlier the confectionery companies have purchased wrapping papers with sliding effect abroad. All pulp-and-paper mills in Russia produce wrapping papers containing chlorine and chlorine compounds that are dangerous for human health and environment. Since 2007 NPPM has become the first in Russia enterprise that produces TCF-paper. The major advantage of the modern TCF-bleaching technology is complete absence of dangerous and heavy pollutants namely chlorine dioxin and chlorophenols. Instead of chlorine and its compounds NPPM applies hydrogen peroxide that completely dissolves into innocuous water and oxygen. The papers manufactured at NPPM are suitable for wrapping not only food products but pharmaceuticals as well that is confirmed by ISEGA certificates.
