OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 June 2008 was announced, that Ukrsotsbank integration into the international UniCredit Group has expanded the possibilities for its clients.

Valentyna Zhukovska: "UniCredit Group has good expertise and great experience of realisation of multiple projects in Central and Eastern Europe. And although Ukrsotsbank had accumulated huge and largely unique work experiences on the Ukrainian market, now we get new knowledge and technology, we do not need to seek "our way" through trial and error.

Our positions have very seriously strengthened in the documentary operations as to the implementation of trade financing - our clients have direct access to the markets of 23 countries where the group is presented. If before, to present guarantee for the client, that is to get its confirmation by first-class bank we and the client respectively had to pay an additional fee now it is not necessary. The procedure has been simplified both temporary and clients money costs have also been significantly decreased. The situation in post-import and pre-export financing has significantly improved - in general, our products and services are becoming more systematic and complex.

The bank retail clients  who are UniCredit cardholders will have undeniable advantage of using the cards in the bank terminals throughout Europe without additional commissions.

I think that in the near future the Group will actively develop investment banking in Ukraine. Our possibilities in terms of funding have also qualitatively improved: it is possible to establish syndicates involving several groups of banks, such as: Bank Austria, HVB, Bank Pekao and others for the implementation of very large projects.
