OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2008. CJSC Engels pipe plant (EPP; Saratov region; ESTAR Group) in January thru April 2008 shipped to customers 22,142 t of finished products, 13.5% more than in the same period in 2007, according to the ESTAR press service.

In January thru April the plant’s output totaled 20,597 t, and in the same period in 2007, 21,530 t. In particular, in April the plant produced 6,801  t of pipes (2.9% more than in April 2007), including 5,766 t of water and gas pipes (versus 5,795 t in April 2007) and 1,035 t of shaped tubes (versus 1,206 t).

“In April 2008 the target for customer shipments was exceeded,” says the press-release.
