Thomson Reuters in cooperation with International Information Group Interfax has awarded Vozrozhdenie Bank first place among Russian, Kazakh and Ukrainian banks in their recent study of investor relations Thomson Reuters Extel Survey – Focus CIS 2008. Julia Vinogradova, head of the IR department at Vozrozhdenie, was singled out as the best among IR professionals in the financial sector for the second year in a row.

Vozrozhdenie has also been considered as the most transparent bank from a shareholders perspective by Standard and Poor’s for the past three years and in January this year was ranked as one of the five best governed listed companies buy Troika Dialog in a survey of governance in Russian publicly traded companies with market capitalization of more than one billion dollars. “As a bank whose business is based on strong supportive relationships with our customers, it is natural that we would also strive for a strong and open relationship with investors. The Survey, “CIS Focus 2008”, was carried out by Thomson Reuters in association with International Information Group Interfax, during April and May this year, with questionnaires sent to 7 Ѕ thousand professional investors in over 60 countries. There will be an award ceremony at  MICEX offices next Wednesday, June 25th.
