OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 June 2008 was announced, that JSC "Concern Stirol" during January-May 2008 has increased sales and production volumes for all main final products. In total "Stirol" during January-May this year has sold final products on the amount of 2 billion 151 mln. 682 thousand hryvnas (UAH), that is by 30,5% more than during the same period of last year.

In particular, in 5 first months 2008 company increased sales of ammonia by 51,6% (535 mln. 956 ths. UAH), granulated ammonium nitrate by 26,1% (224 mln. 476 ths. UAH), sodium nitrate by 46,1% (12 mln. 352 ths. UAH), urea by 1,8% (448 mln. 666 ths. UAH), sodium nitrate by 97,4% (7 mln. 349 ths. UAH), sulfuric acid by 845,7% (44 mln. 609 ths. UAH), pharmaceutical products by 14,6% (28 mln. 211 ths. UAH), polystyrenes by 18,7% (161 mln. 772 ths. UAH), packing materials by 8,3% (14 mln. 633 ths. UAH). It was sold also Urea-Ammonium Nitrate solutions (UAN) on the amount of 130 mln. 454 ths. UAH, that is 12,6 times more than during 5 months of previous year.

Company also has increased production volumes.

So during January-May 2008 it has been produced 610 ths. 278 t of ammonia(+3,5%), 365 ths. 159 t of urea (+1,6%), 244 ths. 647 t of granulated ammonium nitrate (+8,4%), 8 ths. 435 t of sodium nitrate (+2,5%), 3 ths. 300 t sodium nitrite (+32.2%), 97 ths. 438 t of sulfuric acid (+129.6%), 18 ths. 431 t of polystyrenes (+27,8%), 498 mln. 586 ths. pieces of pharmaceutical products (+45,6%), 212 mln. 132 ths. items of packing materials (+10,5%), 596,9 t of paint and varnish (+51,5%). During this period of time Company has produced 66 mln. 449 ths. kWt.h of electric power (+28,0%) and also 84 ths. 690 t of urea-ammonium nitrate solutions, that more than 9 times larger than for the same period of the year 2007.

During this reported period of time labour productivity at the Company also has been increased by 43,3% up to 354 538 US dollars per person.
