OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 June 2008 was announced, that JSC "Concern Stirol" has started production of granulated urea, manufactured by process of Japanese engineering company "ТЕС".

Given product is not produced elsewhere at the territory of the CIS. In EU it is produced only in France and Spain.

Given product substantially differs by its properties from prilled urea by the following:

Nitrogen Mass Fraction in dry matters, not less than 46,2%

Biuret Mass Fraction, not more than 1,4%

Water Mass Fraction according to Fischer method, not more than 0,6%

Granule size distribution:

Mass Fraction of granules with size from 1 to 5 mm is not less than 95%. Mass Fraction of granules with size less than 1 mm is not more than 3,0 %. Residue at screen with size 6 mm is absent

Static hardness of granules, not less than 1,7-2,5 kgs/granule

Friability 100%

Granulated urea has good physical-chemical properties. It preserves friability during long period of time; it is suitable for transportation in rail way cars type "hopper"; it can be stored in common closed warehouses.
