OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 June, 2008 at 9:50 7 of 11 railway wagons with coal derailed on the railway run by Pavlogradugol’s affiliated enterprise Pavlogradpogruztrans Handling Company. The train was on the way from Zapadno-Donbasskaya Mine to Ternovskaya Mine. No people were injured in the accident. 

An ad hoc committee is studying the reasons of the accident and will reveal them within ten days after the investigation. A 100-meters track section and three wagons owned by Ukrzalyznytsya were damaged in the accident. Recovery works on the site have been completed by specialists of Pavlogradpogruztrans and Zapadno-Donbasskaya Mine. The traffic of trains required by Pavlogradugol is permitted with speed limitations.
