OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 June 2008 was announced, that the city authorities of Moscow are to demolish 8 old dwelling houses on Botanicheskaya Street in Marfino township, northeast Moscow, and to erect high-rise buildings on the place of them.

“New Ring of Moscow program stipulated the construction of high-rise dwelling houses will be embodied in microdistrict 50 of Marfino. The old houses on 8, 10, 12, 16, 10A, 14A, 14B, 16A Botanicheskaya Street are to be demolished,” a source from Moscow City Hall said.

The city authorities plan to buy the flats from their owners by mutual consent or to place the equivalent flats at their disposal within the area they live in or in the other areas of northeast Moscow.
