Zauralskiy Kreker Decides on Promising Markets in Russia and Abroad
OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 June 2008 was announced, that OJSC "Zauralskiy Kreker" (Shchutshye, the Kurgan region) - a subsidiary of PAVA, one of the three leading companies in Russian grain-processing. The product range of the confectionary plant includes over 30 product items such as crackers, sugar cookies and biscuits. All of OJSC "Zauralskiy Kreker" product line is made of PAVA high-grade Altay flour, which gives quality and taste to the cookies and crackers.
The Sales Department of OJSC "Zauralskiy Kreker" intensify their work on expansion of the company's confectionary markets. The products are well-known among the customers of the Ural region in Russia: the whole assortment of crackers is represented in trading networks of Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan. Purchase of equipment for cookies packaging, scheduled for 2008, will increase the availability of this product, which is quite popular too, in the regional shops.
The Eastern part of Russia represents a market with a big potential for OJSC "Zauralskiy Kreker"; the company has just started distribution of its confectionary there. As part of the open auction for food supplies to the Pacific Navy, the company made its first 90-tonne biscuits shipment to Vladivostok in April 2008.
The employees of the Sales Department with OJSC "Zauralskiy Kreker" are conducting active negotiations with Irkutsk and Khabarovsk wholesalers.
Overseas companies are also interested in OJSC "Zauralskiy Kreker" products. Cookies and crackers sell quite well in Kyrgyzstan, a contract for confectionary deliveries to Georgia is concluded, negotiations with trading companies of Armenia are under way.
Flour produced by PAVA is already familiar to Mongolian customers: 2,600 tonnes of it has been shipped to the Republic over the last 3 months. Now, PAVA is discussing the opportunity to ship confectionary by OJSC "Zauralskiy Kreker" along with the flour to its Mongolian partners.
