OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 June 2008 was announced, that in the follow up of 2007 Ukrsotsbank has paid above UAH 308 million to the budgets of different levels. To compare: in the follow up of 2006 the amount of tax and other payments to the budgets of various levels totaled UAH 233 million.

"The principled position of our bank is not use optimization schemes in respect of profit. We are proud to be one of the largest taxpayers - said Chairman of Ukrsotsbank, Borys Tymonkin. - This is indeed a cause for pride, because, for example, tax payments of market leader are about three times smaller than ours".
