OREANDA-NEWS. The Sovcomflot President and CEO Sergey Frank was a member of Russia’s delegation at a meeting of representatives of the five countries bordering the Arctic Region (Russia, Canada, USA, Denmark and Norway). The meeting, including Foreign Ministers from each participating country, was held on 27-28 May 2008 in Ilulissat (Greenland).

Sergey Frank, who heads one of the world’s leading shipping companies and one that specialising in the transportation of energy by sea in harsh ice conditions, addressed the meeting participants and gave a presentation on the possibilities and the outlook for the development of commercial activities in the Arctic Region.
