OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 June 2008 was announced, that  the chairman of the board of Nuclear insurance pool of Ukraine, the President of "Oranta" Incorporated Oleksandr Zavada opened a two days forum, which involved 43 participants from 23 nuclear insurance pools all over the world. In the opening speech Mr. Zavada expressed his gratitude for the performance of the event in Ukraine and wished "pleasant stay in Ukrainian land" to the participants. The chairman of the State nuclear regulation committee of Ukraine Olena Mykolaichuk, first deputy Chairman of the State Committee on the regulation of markets of financial services Andriy Lytvyn and the President of League of insurance organizations Oleksandr Filonyuk made greeting speeches.It should be mentioned that the top managers of the executive authorities of the nuclear pools from all over the world were present at the Forum.

According to the program of the forum its participants exchange with their experience in the development of nuclear insurance in the countries — members of the pool system, which consists of 26 pools, consider the problems of radioisotopic risks insurance, the Convention on additional compensations, procedures for performance of ecological risks liability insurance and etc.
