New Head of DnB NORD Asset Management Company Takes Office
OREANDA-NEWS. On June 09, 2008 Sarunas Ruzgys took the office of the director general of UAB DnB NORD Investiciju Valdymas, the asset management arm of DnB NORD Bankas financial group, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD Bankas.
The 35 year old economist has been working as the director of commerce at the bank’s leasing subsidiary DnB NORD Lizingas before taking the job.
“We believe that Mr. Ruzgys’ strong focus on customer needs and service quality as well as his sales and marketing expertise will give a fresh impulse to the company’s development through offering a wider range of customer-oriented simple and easily accessible investment products and solutions,” dr. Vygintas Bubnys, DnB NORD Bankas Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and executive Vice-president in charge of investment banking said.
DnB NORD Investiciju Valdymas is the Lithuania‘s fourth largest asset management company. As at the end of May the company’s assets stood at LTL 178 million representing 60,4 percent growth compared to the same period a year ago. The company manages three second pillar pension funds, two third pillar pension funds. It also runs investment funds – DnB NORD equity fund of funds, DnB NORD money market fund and DnB NORD bond fund.
Mr. Ruzgys holds Master‘s degree in economy and currently studies under Baltic management institute’s EMBA programme. Prior to joining DnB NORD group he has been heading marketing divisions in real estate company Realtus, construction company Panevezio Statybos trestas and SEB bank‘s corporate business and leasing units.
Mr. Ruzgys is married and is the farther of an eight-year old daughter.
