OREANDA-NEWS. June 09, 2008. The Russian Bank for Development and the Moscow Oblast’s Committee for Enterprise Development signed a Cooperation agreement on SME support programs’ development. On behalf of the Bank the agreement was signed by Sergey Krjukov, Chairman of the Managing Board of RBD, on behalf of the region – Dmitry Samoilenko, Chairman of the Committee, reported the press-centre of RBD.
 
The major objective of the agreement is cooperation in enhancing SME financial support. A wide range of measures are planned – starting from ensuring additional access to credit resources with availability of subsidization of interest rate on credits and finishing with joint construction of business-incubators and technical parks. At that according to the agreement the financial support will primarily be granted to business entities involved in priority and socially significant sectors of the economy.
 
Presently RBD is considering a possibility of funding some projects, in particular, construction of multifunctional business centers in the Moscow Oblast where the business incubators may locate.
 
Cooperation within the agreement envisages special seminars and presentations aimed at informing SMEs about forms of support and available financial services. Two-sided consultations shall be held in particular dealing with economical development of the Moscow Oblast’s SME and joint assessment of the results of SME lending programs.
