The Energy Consulting/Integration specialists, in cooperation with the representatives of their partner - Westbury, a worldwide supplier of software and service management optimization services based on the HP ITSM platform, took part in the 5th anniversary conference “IT-Services and IT Management at Enterprises: from Effective IT-Service to Effective Business" organized by the magazine Open Systems and the corporate communications agency OSP-Con, reported the press-centre of Energy Consulting.

Heads of IT support departments, leading analysts of the Service Desk services, specialists of technical support centers from various industrial and economic branches interested in the implementation of the best practices were also present at the conference.

The main topics for discussion included issues related to IT management, maturing rating of support processes and rendering IT services, instrumental ITSM devices, returns on investments in ITSM-projects and any risks arising out of the implementation of such projects. The practice of using configuration databases was also considered and the best worldwide practices were analyzed, including up-to-date ITSM methodological concepts, techniques and standards.

Olga Chernova, Head of the IT Management Systems Consulting Group of Energy Consulting/Integration spoke on the problem "Age of Transition for ITSM: Modern Realities and New Opportunities" at the conference.
