OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2008. Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant was visited by rectors of leading technical universities, members of Association of rectors of technical institutions of higher education of Ukraine, reported the press-centre of Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant. 

Over 30 representatives of "Science centers" from Kiev, L'vov, Lutsk, Odessa, Sevastopol, Donetsk, Lugansk, Dneprodzerzhinsk, Mariupol and other cities acquainted with ZAZ with unfeigned interest. They listened information about the plant presented by Chairman of Board of ZAZ Nikolay Yevdokimenko, asked questions and observed for production of cars in the main shops of company.

According to the words of Head of Association Council, rector of Scientific and Technical University "Kiev Polytechnical Institute" Mikhail Zgurovskiy Zaporozhye was chosen as place of regular meeting because this city is region of science, industry and business. Whereas the modern economic society cannot develop without cooperation with industrial companies, it is logical to visit Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant.

Having communicated with heads of institutions of higher educations of Ukraine, Chairman of Board of ZAZ Nikolay Yevdokimenko paid attention that professional engineers are guarantee of successful and qualitative work of plant.

The example of reciprocal cooperation of scientific and production centers of region is partnership relations of CJSC "ZAZ" and Zaporozhye National Technical University (regular meeting of Association was held on the base of Zaporozhye National Technical University). The official confirmation of partnership is valid contracts "On cooperation, training and retraining of personnel of technical professions" and "On training and retraining of specialists". During two years ZAZ specialists have been received diplomas of higher education after teaching in the branch of Zaporozhye National Technical University on the base of Training center of plant.

Students of this university have practical work at ZAZ as tradition and receive experience and practical knowledge, which will be useful in future job. Nowadays thousands graduates of Zaporozhye National Technical University work successfully at Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant. Besides, Training Center of ZAZ cooperates with Zaporozhye institute of economics and information technology. Every year about 1000 persons have professional training at ZAZ. So, modern technology of Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant provides with personnel.

Having listened information about production infrastructure of Zaporozhye Automobile Building Plant and having acquainted with model range of the produced cars, guests of ZAZ appreciated greatly the capability of the plant. Guests were interested not only in education matters but also in quality of products and peculiarities of production.

It is probably that this meeting will become the beginning of new cooperation. So rector of Odessa National Polytechincal University Valeriy Malakhov was seriously interested in possibility of joint work with Illichevsk plant of automobile units because this plant needs the qualified personnel. Of course, this meeting was useful for both parties: theorists and practical men.
