OREANDA-NEWS. June 7, 2008. Led by Alexey Miller, Chairman of Gazprom's Management Committee a Gazprom delegation arrived in St. Petersburg to participate in the XII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum to be held on June 7-8, 2008.

On the threshold of the Forum a working meeting between Alexey Miller and Royal Dutch Shell CEO Jeroen van der Veer was held.

The parties addressed bilateral cooperation in LNG production and trading. At the end of the meeting the parties pointed to a high level of interaction between the companies within the joint projects.

Alexey Miller also held a working meeting with N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie Chairman & CEO Marcel Kramer. The parties discussed the main directions of cooperation including the implementation prospects for the projects aimed at developing the European gas transmission infrastructure and underground gas storage capacities.

In addition, St. Petersburg hosted the talks involving Alexey Miller, ExxonMobil Chairman & CEO Rex Tillerson and JP Morgan Chase Chairman & CEO James Dimon.

The parties focused on the progress in the bilateral relations and the potential for joint projects.
