OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 June 2008 was announced, that the first three-star hotel included in the Russian hotel chain Azimut Hotel Chain is to open within the mixed-use complex in Danilovskaya Manufaktura 1867 business quarter near Tulskaya subway station in south Moscow.

According to a press release by AZIMUT Hotel Company, the hotel will be built on a place of the former office building set to be reconstructed into an up-to-date hotel by KR Properties.

“AZIMUT Hotel Company is controlling the reconstruction of the former office building and the forming of the modern design of the new hotel and is to run it after the completion of the construction,” the press release said.

The document specified that the contract for managing the hotel between KR Properties and AZIMUT Hotels Company had been concluded for 20 years.

The hotel called AZIMUT Hotel Moscow will have the area of roughly 5,000 sq m. A number of the hotel rooms will total 130.

The reconstruction of the office building in Danilovskaya Manufaktura 1867 business quarter is scheduled to be completed by 2010.

The design project AZIMUT Hotel Moscow has been elaborated by ReardonSmith Architects.
