OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 June 2008 was announced, that Ukrsotsbank attended "The successful development of factoring business and sales of new factoring products" international conference held in Amsterdam.

The main purpose of the event was the definition of today's major world tendencies of factoring business development. Conference participants were able to get acquainted with innovative solutions as to factoring products, such as, for example, ABL, e-factoring (without the use of paper documents). Considerable attention was paid to technological aspects which are used in work with factoring, such as Basel II, factoring portfolio risk-management, factoring business processes automatization, prevention of new types of fraud in the factoring business and other modern trends and technologies allowing build factoring business efficiently.

Ukrsotsbank was represented at the event as one of the founders and Factoring leader in Ukraine - a market which is considered new and relatively young in the world but nevertheless, it has considerable potential. Ukrsotsbank demonstrated foreign colleagues history and the result of its own development in factoring market, conformity of factoring technology to world requirements, and also reviewed the state of factoring and the Ukrainian economy as a whole. The conference participants had great opportunity to broaden their understanding and perception of Ukraine as a potential partner with a high potential for cooperation.

Since 2005 Ukrsotsbank is a member of the Factors Chain International (FCI). In the follow up of 2007 the Bank carried out factoring operations to the amount of over UAH 3 billion having accepted from clients more than 287 thousand deliveries.
