OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2008. Inspectors of the Directorate General of the European Commission's Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) intend to carry out an inspection of the Ukrainian milk processing enterprises in June-July, wishing to export their products to the EU, Head of the State Committee on Veterinary Medicine press service Anatoliy Osadchyi informed.

In Paris, a working meeting took place between representatives of the Ukrainian delegation and FVO Deputy Director General Paola Testori.

It resulted in an agreement about a verification visit of FVO inspectors for making an audit of the Ukrainian enterprises, producers of milk products, with the aim of familiarizing with their work and studying opportunities of exporting Ukrainian products to the EU countries.

In addition, a preliminary agreement was reached about examination of the Ukrainian poultry farming enterprises for studying export opportunities of poultry meat and goose liver to the European Union.
