OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 June 2008 was announced, that the Science and Engineering Council has been established in IDGC of Centre, JSC the aim of which is to coordinate technical policy, introduction of modern equipment and advanced technologies in the Company's grid economy.

The Council for Science and Engineering of IDGC of Centre, JSC is the supreme expert advisory body in the sphere of establishment and practical realization of the scientific, technical and innovation policy of the Company.

Definition of the priority directions of research and development work, development of recommendations for solution of problems in the field of technical development, safety of grid facilities, industrial and ecological safety should become one the main goals of the Council.

The Council will also cooperate with committees for the science and innovation policy of administrations of the areas in the IDGC configuration, as well as innovation engineering centers and state public associations. All of them will contribute to and practically participate in development of science and technologies in the sphere of grid business in the regions.
