OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 June 2008 was announced, that Svyazinvest held in Moscow a Board of Directors meeting which was attended by the following:

- Leonid Dodojovich Reiman, Presidential Advisor

- Anton Vladimirovich Abugov, first vice president of AFK Sistema

- Boris Dmitrievich Antonyuk, deputy Minister of Telecommunications of the Russian Federation

- Alexander Yevgenievich Gorbunov, vice president of business development of the corporate center of Comstar OTS

- Alexander Nikolaevich Kiselev, general director of Svyazinvest

- Vasily Mikhailovich Popik, deputy head of the Expert Administration of the President of the Russian Federation

- Vadim Alexeyevich Stepanov, press secretary and deputy director of the RF Federal Security Service

The agenda of the Board of Directors meeting of the company included the following main issues:

1)     On the company’s 2007 annual financial statement

2)     On the results of the public tender to select an auditor to perform a mandatory annual audit of the company in 2008

3)     On participating in the subsidiary of Svyazinvest Hybrid Printing Systems

The Board of Directors also reviewed some other issues related to the company’s internal activity, such as recommendations to the annual general shareholders meeting with respect to 2007 profit allocation, while convening and preparing for the company’s annual general shareholders meeting due to the lack of an RF government directive was not reviewed.

Based on the results of the meeting of the Board of Directors the following decisions were adopted:

Issue # 1: To preliminarily approve the company’s annual financial statement.

Issue # 2: To propose that the annual general shareholders meeting approve KPMG as the company’s 2008 auditor.

Issue # 3: To take under advisement information and instruct the company to redraft the project.
