Block 77 in Southeast Moscow Will be Free of Dilapidated Houses
OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 June 2008 was announced, that the city authorities of Moscow have approved the planning project of block 77 in Nizhegorodsky district where it is planned to reconstruct 2 km of roads, to demolish 7,500 sq m of dilapidated housing and to lay out a new park.
“It is planned to demolish 7,500 sq m of dilapidated housing while the housing stock of the district totals almost 22,000 sq m. Another 2,200 sq m of living areas will be adapted for hotel functions,” a source from Moscow City Hall said.
According to the source, the project stipulates to reconstruct 1.89 km of the network of streets. It is also to put up car parks and guest parking lots in the block.
Besides, the citizens of the block will get the new natural complex Mitropolichiy Sad after the close of the work.
