OREANDA-NEWS. June 5, 2008. Mr. Vladimir Skatin was appointed a member of the Management Board according to a decision of Supervisory Board of the Bank “Saint-Petersburg”. Earlier Saint-Petersburg CBR Head Department approved him as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and the member of the Bank’s Management Board.
 
Vladimir Skatin will be responsible for the major customers relations. In order to enhance this business direction new departments have been formed in the Bank, i.e. Major Customers Department and Major Customer Economic Analysis and Client Marketing Department.
 
Curriculum Vitae:

Vladimir Skatin was born in 1956 in the town of Chernikovsk, Republic of Bashkiria. He graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1979 and Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance in 1998. He is a PhD in Economics.s

Vladimir Skatin began his career at the Kirovsky Plant, where he worked as a foreman, a head of workshop and since 1989 as the Deputy Director General for Economics and Finance. In 1995 he moved to the Industry & Construction Bank of Saint Petersburg (currently Bank VTB North-West) to hold office of the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. In 2001 he was appointed the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and from 2006 to 2007 he acted as the Chairman of the Management Board.
