OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 June 2008 was announced, that the city government of Moscow allocated funds for building a sanatorium for people plagued with skin diseases and locomotor apparatus problems.

A 4-ha site for the prospective health resort has been already bought, the official site of the prefecture of the southeastern administrative district of Moscow said.

A spell ago Moscow also bought Kamchiya summer camp in Bulgaria where the Moscow schoolchildren have rest in summer. “We have put the camp in order, overhauled it. Now it is a good children camp,” Moscow City Mayor Yuri Luzhkov declared at the official opening of Moscow Days in Bulgaria on May 23. According to the official, Kamchiya will as well receive the veterans and pensioners from the Russian capital in the velvet season.

The city authorities plan to buy one more object in Bulgaria. Mr Luzhkov said that the Moscow City Government had asked the Bulgarians to sell an idle sanatorium of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation or to invest in it together.

Besides, the city mayor of Moscow offered the Bulgarian side to develop the ski resorts.

Moscow also intends to purchase health resorts in the Balkans to treat people for critical illnesses by means of sunlight and thermal water.
