OREANDA-NEWS. On June 03, 2008 Russian Railways has been awarded a prize for “Success and Skill in Creating and Promoting its Brand” at the international competition Master of Brandbuilding 2008, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

The award ceremony was held on May 30, 2008 in Moscow.

Russian Railways was selected as one of the top 10 Russian companies best remembered and distinguishing itself in 2007 in terms of building its brand.

The jury at the international not-for-profit competition was composed of representatives from leading business media, which every year independently choose the 10 leading brands or companies over the previous year. The media’s Expert Competition puts forward nominations.

This year, the expert council consisted of representatives from Vedomosti, Harvard Business Review, Smart Money, The Moscow Times, Ekspert, Finance, Money, The Advertising Industry, Brand Management, Vzglyad, Kompaniya, Your Business, Company Management, Top-Manager and City FM.
