OREANDA-NEWS. June 4, 2008. The government of Kaliningrad region announced a contest on developing a project of the recreation zone with a gaming segment and its presentation at MIRIM-2009 real estate forum in French Cannes. The overall cost of the contract is 65 million rubles. The customer is named as “Yantarny” Investment and Development Company Ltd headed by Sergey Yeliseev.

There is a number of requirements set for companies keen on taking part in the contest: experience in planning large entertainment complexes with gaming segments (gaming zones) of at least 300 hectares in the international market, experience in developing concepts of casino resorts, luxury hotels and theme parks. It is planned to summarize the contest in July.
