In one of the landscape areas of the country – resort zone “Borovoye” IV Republican Basketball Tournament “Cup of Hope” was passed among people born in the 1992-1993 years, foster children of orphan homes and boarding schools, supervised by Halyk Bank. Initiator was JSC “Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan”, reported the press-centre of Halyk Bank.

Halyk Bank considers the corporate responsibility and active social policy as one of the basic requirements of long-term successful development of business. The project “Cup of Hope” successfully practices during four years on end.

Within a year children prepare strenuously under the guidance of professional coaches. Halyk Bank pays for work of coaches, equips halls with necessary sports facilities and provides with play suits during the whole project. Hence children perfect essential skills with pleasure in order to approve themselves for 100%!

In this year the tournament “Cup of Hope” was passed in Republican training and health center “Baldauren” in Borovoye.

This time, as well as on the last tournaments, children have perfectly shown their skills and tremendous impressions have been presented to audience. Young basketball players - the future stars of domestic basketball played seriously as adults and with greater passion, as each team wished to become the leader and to win first place.

As a result of the games, Kostanay regional orphan home hold 1-st place, 2-nd place - “Ulan” team of the Childhood house from Taraz, 3-rd place - team of the Oblast boarding school for Petropavlovsk children-orphans.

We are gratified, that the idea of carrying out of tournament is supported by many our friends and partners for some years. Our constant partners - Secondary Education Department of Ministry of Education of RoK, National Federation of Basketball of RoK on behalf of Mr. Severgin O.A.,Vice- President - have consistently and precisely organized tournament on top-level and with professional refereeing.

The sponsors of 16 teams from 12 oblasts were: “ZEYD-ASTANA” LLP, “Leniger” LLP, “Atameken Dos” LLP, “SPF Montajspetsstroy” LLP, “Leninogorsk nefteprodukt” LLP, “Manlik” LLP, “Vostok Produkt” LLP, “Raduga” LLP, “Sinegorye” LLP, “Bolshaya Semiya”, "Golden Eagle", “Armada-Invest” LLP. May tournament became kind tradition and gives a lot of happiness, good and fun to our children!
