OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2008. With the purpose of development of kazakhstani Internet segment JSC Kazakhtelecom carries out an active work aimed at creation of compelling conditions for development of Internet –areas, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.

A new file interchange service www.filebar.kz developed by IKEEN GROUP has been launched. Due to the placement of the server on data communication node JSC Kazakhtelecom will provide "Megaline" subscribers with free and unlimited traffic.

File interchange services are intended for placement, filing, transmission of large files and 24 hour access to the Internet through web-interface.

In order to use the service user saves file in the file interchange server which gives user a constant link to be forwarded to other Internet user in any medium: e-mail, publication in logs, forums, instant messaging (ICQ, MailAgent, IM etc).

Placement of the Filebar server (www.filebar.kz) on JSC Kazakhtelecom’s co-location will enable the company to become the largest and popular file exchanger in KazNet due to its high server access speed and extended spectrum of provided services for Internet users.

Since June 1, 2008 access speed for “Megaline” subscribers from/to JSC Kazakhtelecom’s internet resources (IP-addresses of JSC Kazakhtelecom ) will make 512 kbps. A null rate of incoming and outgoing traffic tarrification from/to JSC Kazakhtelecom’s internal resources will be determined.

Unlimited time for files storage on server will be differential peculiarity of the Filebar (www.filebar.kz). The maximum size of the saved file – 100 mbps. Primarily, the service will be completely anonymous. It will enable user to work being unregistered.

Besides of varied and content, Filebar (www.filebar.kz) will differ by wide spectrum of provided services – search of saved files names, view of all files list on server, listening mp3-files, browsing zoomed-out saved pictures and video-files with no need to save on computer. Scanning files for viruses in process of saving them on server will be also important service. In case viruses are found, they will be deleted.

File interchange service market in Kazakhstan is represented by different resources. However, due to improvement of conditions both for “Megaline” subscribers and obtaining hosting from JSC Kazakhtelecom, KazNet content seems to be very popular in course of time.

It is to remind that since January 1, 2008 JSC Kazakhtelecom reduced tariffs for hosting services - placement of web-resources on provider’s server. Monthly fee was reduced by 41%. Traffic tariffication procedure was changed. Traffic for Co-location and Dedicated server services, where incoming traffic volume must not exceed 25% of outgoing traffic volume, is not charged according to new tariffication procedure.
