OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2008. At PJSC Azovstal Iron and Steel Works of Metinvest Group the level of average salary in April 2008 reached 3054 thou UAH that is by 8,6 % higher than the indices of January 2008, reported the press-centre of Azovstal Iron and Steel Works.

Since the beginning of the year average salary at the Works has increased by 244 UAH: from 2810 UAH to 3054 UAH. Comparing to April 2007, average salary of Azovstal workers increased by 31,4% (by 730 UAH).

Such tendency allows Azovstal Iron and Steel Works to keep leading place by salary among Ukrainian enterprises in its field of industry. Besides, Azovstal Iron and Steel works is an absolute leader by the level of salary in Mariupol.

Continuous salary growth is a result of the Works successful development and its aim is to compensate inflation rate. Such positive dynamics makes it possible to include PJSC Azovstal Iron and Steel Works into the number of the most attractive employers in the industry.
