OREANDA-NEWS. June 3, 2008. Yaroslavl hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Sergey Vakhrukov, Governor of the Yaroslavl Oblast.

The parties discussed the progress with the execution of the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Yaroslavl Oblast, and noted that during the last five years the regional consumers had paid for natural gas supplies in advance. In addition, the regional authorities were timely and fully meeting their obligations with regard to the construction of gasification facilities in the region.

Alexey Miller and Sergey Vakhrukov reached the agreement on Gazprom’s participation in financing the reconstruction of a part of the Volga River embankment as part of the preparations for the Yaroslavl’s 1000th Anniversary.
