OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 June 2008 was announced, that holidays in May at Crimea TITAN were inaugurated by important event, namely start-up of one of the objects under reconstruction planned – decomposition unit in workshop Titan-2.

Stable growing demand for products of Crimea TITAN actuates large-scale reconstruction projects. On purpose to increase production capacity of workshop Titan-2 in decomposition process area the erection, commissioning and start-up of decomposition unit was carried out. The decomposition unit consists of 2 additional decomposition reactors and improved gas cleaning system. The economic potential after realization of a project is 15% increase in production capacity of decomposition unit in workshop Titan-2 and as a consequence additional production output of TiO2 – 10 thous. ton per year.

At the stage of investment planning value of project, construction and installation works amounted approx. UAH 11 mln.
