OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 June 2008 was announced, that a meeting was held in the KR National Bank between S.S. Konokbaev, NBKR Board member, and representatives of the Peoples Bank of China (representatives of the NBKR brunch in Urumqi).

During of the meeting the parties discussed issues related to the investment policy and investment legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, possibilities of opening correspondent accounts in KR banks, currency regulation in the Kyrgyz Republic and People's Republic of China, prospects for using Yuan (Chinese Renminbi yuan) and the Kyrgyz som in the transactions between individuals and legal entities as well as the issue of establishing working relations between the NBKR and the NBKR brunch in Urumqi).
