On 02 June 2008 was announced, that on the eve before May, 31st (Day of political reprisals), public fund "Nagyz Zheltoksan" at support of department of internal policy have lead in the International press centre of Astana a round table on a theme "December events – solving stage of struggle for independence of Kazakhstan "

 This day the Kazakhstan society remembers victims of political reprisals. Reprisals of the thirtieth years when has been destroyed the elite of the Kazakh nation, the outstanding personalities of Kazakh people, representatives of intelligency have been shot, condemned for long years.

 Participants of December events - alive witnesses of revelry of the political reprisals, tested for themselves all of "charm" of a heavy share of dissidents " enemies of people " have organized this round table. Also the representatives of public fund presented a number of books, in particular the book "Taukymet pen tagzymy" (author Bolatbek Tolepbergen), published to the 70 anniversary of political reprisals of 1937, and the books published to the 20 anniversary of December events of 1986 (10-volume, prepared to the edition by the fund after A.Sarsenbayev).
