OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 June 2008 was announced, that last week the board of directors of "Oranta" Incorporated decided to pay out the insurance indemnity to S "Agroinvest" "Borzna-Agroinvest" LLC in the amount of UAH 250 ths. As a result of frost injury, the crops of winter rape in the area of 261.00 ha and winter barley in the area of 100 ha, which belong to the insured, have been destroyed. Besides, as a result of frost injury in Kherson region the crops of winter wheat, which belong to the PE AF "Promin", have been damaged. The amount of loss, which the company intends to cover to the enterprise, makes up more than UAH 100 ths. As well, the crops of winter wheat, which belong to PAE "Edem" and PLE "Chongar", have been damaged, the sum of insurance indemnity — more than UAH 100 and 250 ths., correspondingly. From frost injury the crops of winter barley have also suffered in PAE "Novogrygoriyivske" (the sum, due to payment, makes up more than UAH 140 ths.), as well as the crops of winter barley of PLE "Chongar" (the sum, due to payment — more than UAH 400 ths.)

The board of directors of "Oranta" Incorporated also decided to pay out the insurance indemnity to the insured JCJSC "Kolos" (Mykolayiv region). As a result of frost injury that happened in March, crops of winter rape of the insured in the area of 233,00 ha were damaged. The amount of insurance indemnity makes up more than UAH 100 ths. The company will also pay out the insurance indemnity to FE "Zborovski lany" in the amount of more than UAH 100 ths. because, a result of frost injury, crops of winter rape in the area of 90,00 ha, which belong to the insured, have been damaged.
